You have done a splendid job in this portrait and there is very little that I could say as part of a critique. You have included a good range of tones from lights to darks and I especially like how you have allowed the white of the page to work so effectively in this work - it is beautifully and sensitively done. I like the little star detail on the baby's clothing, it's subtle and not overdone. You've depicted the folds in the fabric well also.
The baby's left eye troubles me as it doesn't seem to correspond to the other eye. The iris seems larger (I think it needs to curve in at the top). I love how you've captured the hair, it seems soft and downy. I think the portrait is a triumph on the whole, and it's clear that you are a very accomplished artist. Well done.
